During May, 2007, the school was inspected under the government’s compulsory system of school inspection. See full report on the OfSTED Website.
The Office for Standards in Education (OFSTED) arranged for a Registered inspector, who also happened to be an HMI, approved by OFSTED and trained to nationally agreed standards, to view the schools normal routine over a defined period - in our case two teaching days.
All parents were invited to fill in an appropriate questionnaire - this was open to all parents who had children at the school.

Judged in seven key result areas, the school gained the top grade – outstanding - in every one of all 22 factors. The inspector attended a lesson given by every teacher and also received views from parents, children and governors on the achievements of the children in learning and development.
Everyone involved with our school can rightly be very proud of this independent assessment of the excellent quality of the school.
The school also underwent a Statutory Inspection of Anglican Schools which inspected the teaching of RE and the delivery of Collective Worship.
